Patience “Nokky” Ndlovu is a seasoned technology professional with a career spanning over 15 years across numerous industries in Africa. A graduate candidate of the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) Nexus Leadership Programme as well as a globally certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), she is a respected alumnus of both institutions who is regularly called upon to facilitate dialogue amongst former and current students who serve across various industries within Africa.
Her reputation within the technology industry extends globally and has seen her invited as a speaker to the 2018 Gender Equality in a New Inclusive African Economy (GENIAE) conference in Atlanta in the United States.
Other notable career milestones include: a nomination for the 2018 Gauteng Women Excellence Awards Trail Blazer and Woman in Leadership categories; hosting the first Africa focused technology strategic engagement conference; recognition as one of South Africa’s Inspiring Fifty Women in 2017.
While IT is typically a male dominated industry, Nokky is anything but typical and she works to use her skills and influence to change the landscape and encourage young girls and women to find the trailblazer within themselves.
